Synopsis: A woman named A Mai seeks revenge for the murder of her family by her former lover, Chen Qi, and disguises herself as a man to roam the country. In her travels, she meets Shang Yizhi, the son of a princess, and they become intertwined in each other’s lives. When war breaks out, A Mai joins the military and rises through the ranks, while Shang Yizhi is being hunted down. A Mai helps him survive and they have multiple encounters with the enemy general, Chang Yu Qing. As they fight together and face the harsh realities of war, A Mai must make a difficult decision for the sake of her country. This drama is based on the novel “A Mai Cong Jun” by Xian Cheng and consists of 34 episodes.
