The Divine Protector: Master Salt Begins (2022)

Synopsis: At Kamono Girls’ Highschool in Tokyo, members of the occult club are gathering for a ritual ceremony to summon a spiritual protector known as “Master Salt” to help Nanako, one of their members, who has been affected by mysterious events. After drawing a pentagon and circle with purified salt and burning a sealed envelope with their wish, a woman in hakama appears with a blast of wind, revealing herself to be Master Salt. She is able to see the source of Nanako’s curse and repel it. With Master Salt’s help, the occult club members discover that people in their community are using curses to bring misery to others, including a swindler of the elderly, a businessman who commits domestic violence, and a university professor who threatens his students. As they investigate further, they uncover the secrets of a powerful enemy, the Tendo Group. They must work together to confront this enemy and protect the innocent from curses and other dangers.
