Synopsis: In an alternative feudal Japan, a mysterious disease has decimated the male population over the course of 80 years. This has drastically changed the social structure, with females now holding all important political positions. As a result, a matriarchal society has emerged, with women in charge and men becoming their subordinate consorts. The most powerful woman in the country, the head of the Tokugawa shogunate, is allowed to keep a harem of attractive and idle males referred to as the “Ooku”.
