Synopsis: Crown Prince Sajo Hyun is a man with two sides, an intellectual fashion designer and an irresistibly charming character. He carries a deep wound from childhood caused by his oppressive father, Sajo Seung. At the same time, Yeon Wol is an assassin seeking to avenge her fallen family by assassinating the King. When her attempt to take his life fails, she loses her memory and wakes up the next day with no recollection of her past. Under mysterious circumstances, the two characters’ paths cross and they find themselves in a heart-fluttering love story. I though this was a drama from 2010 because of how dated the poster looks but the premise sounds good so I’ll be watching.

When FL dances, I could feel her energy and aura. This is her first ever drama. Her acting is great. She’s very beautiful too.
I would have prefered the title “Fantasy Sonata” instead of “Love Song for Illusion”… the later doesn’t make sense to me.
Jihoon has the most soulful eyes. I could stare at him forever. So I guess I will have to watch this.

So far so good. I appreciate that the king in the story is truly a king, like how I’ve always pictured historical kings to be mean and treat women as worthless. On the other hand, the main character is a sensitive young man who who enjoys designing clothes, with a hint of madness thrown into the mix. Idk why others hate it. It’s clearly not a major production, but I find it entertaining.
Tbh I’m enjoying this so far, it’s not so heavy like I expected which is a good thing considering the other dramas I’m watching but after tomorrow’s episode I’ll have to make a decision whether to drop or continue watching.
P.s the casts actually ate this and the split personality disorder adds a new layer to the plot, feels like I’m reading a book 😊❤️.
Uuu, loved the first 5 episodes but didn’t love ep. 6, I hope it’s not going downhill from here.
