Synopsis: The 12-episode series “Idol Disqualification” follows the story of Onodera Mimika, a high school student and member of the popular idol group Tetra. Despite her success, Mimika is plagued by worries about her future. One day, she meets Keita, a devoted fan who works at a part-time job. After connecting with Keita, Mimika is faced with the forbidden romance between an idol and her fan. Adapted from the novel “Idol Disqualification” by Abe Wakana, this drama explores the relationship between an idol and an otaku. Each episode follows Mimika as she navigates the complexities of her role as an idol and her growing feelings for Keita. Aired on Saturdays, “Idol Disqualification” offers a unique and emotional look at the world of idols and their devoted fans.
