Synopsis: Masahiko, a widower, has raised his daughter Hitomi alone since his wife died. On New Year’s Day, they discuss their respective bombshells: Hitomi is to be married in three months, and Masahiko has been told he only has three months to live. Masahiko strongly opposes the marriage because Hitomi’s would-be husband is an unpopular comedian, 10 years her senior. As they both want each other to be happy, they are unable to give up their positions and try to persuade one another. In the end, they decide to make the most of their remaining time, with Hitomi writing down things she wants to do before her wedding and Masahiko writing down things he wants to do before his death.
