“The Tale of Nok Du” is a romantic comedy set during the times of the Joseon dynasty. It tells the story of Jeon Nok Du (Jang Dong Yoon), the son of a noble family who is handsome, smart and adventurous. To avoid an arranged marriage by her family, he runs way from home. He disguises himself as a woman and goes to a mysterious all-woman village. There he meets Dong Dong Joo, a prickly gisaeng trainee who is clumsy, has no sense of rhythm, and is tone-deaf. However, she has a fiery personality and always speaks her mind.
