1. Why does the emperor want to find dirt on the Hua family so bad ?? Even when the family’s men were exiled and the entire family was stripped of everything from their money to their status and were isolated and considered almost traitors, the emperor is still threatened by them! He’s too blind to even realize that he’s barking on the wrong tree. I wonder why would his reaction be when his nephew shows the slightest sign of being in love with a hua member.

2. its so sweet that the hua family treat shaoyao like a princess without even knowing she is a princess 😊, I love the way her brother got mad and avenged her with the quickness.

   I find the resolution of the case of the letters very satisfying, everyone reacted so reasonably, from the empress dowager to grandma hua to hua z to yan xi, they’re all people with great authority, and they act like it 🌟
