1. Why do I like this story ? It’s an unpretentious-family-intrigue-costume drama and reminds me of The Story Of Ming Lan, The Sword And The Brocade. Well written script, perfect cast for the characters, well directed, pleasant cinematography, well thought CGI, keeps me on my toes and very important point..the comments (I read all of them) are witty and full of imaginations.

   Now I cross fingers that it keep this pace for the following 24 episodes.

2. The 1st house husband is arriving back in the mansion, I wonder if he’s a good or bad guy? Could he be involved in the FL’s mom’s death?
   That Marquis needs to GTFO, I hate how he keeps cornering FL and getting too close to her even after she’s made her distaste clear.

5. II don’t want to suspect the grandma she is so adorable and stand in business to protect her family even our 3rd Young master was surprised when did it for him
   So now there is 3 possibilities
   – The 1st House madame so the Aunt
   – someone related to the Marquis (Plot twist)
   – someone related to Ning’s real father family (another plot twist)

6. lol this marquis is getting himself fooled all over by the siblings! she gave him a fitting reply asking him to get out and the grudge he holds for the ML will grow bigger now~ luckily they managed to ship that disciple out~ looks like the father is not involved in the murder but he was used to deliver the final poison! doesnt look like his fav concubine doing that job..i suspect his brother’s wife~ she remains so calm..granny knows the truth and hence treats Ning well but who could her real father be~ even granny doesnt hate her mom! wonder when will they clear all this and romance to start~ its just started to grow

7. yea her father can’t be the criminal he’s too weak and stupid, in fact with the way he’s setup? he can’t be anything. they always complain that the grandma plays favorites but in these 16 eps, not once have we seen any of the other grand kids going to her and eating with her and just accompanying her, yi ning is the only one that makes an effort while the rest hide behind their mums, so why won’t the grandma treat her special??

8. the grandmother might know more of Fls background than she’s letting on….? did yall see that look she gave to Mama Zheng after saying “i don’t want to talk of the past anymore”

9. Well, the father is off the hook for poisoning his wife. Someone must have used his “hand” to kill her mother. Most likely it is related to someone behind the Marquis….
