2. omg i remember reading the manga for this and it was such a feel good story, like nothing too dramatic, just two men growing together and becoming each other’s comfort person. Not sure if this adaptation will change any of that, but so far it has the same feel as the manga.

6. Smitten! I am absolutely SMITTEN!!!

   And it seems like it is not just me. Both of our male leads are also SMITTEN with each other. Already the first episode and we have a confession! Not that I am going to blame him at all, after all, it seems like it was love at first sight on BOTH ENDS.

   P.S. The actor [Hideya Tawada] that portrays the police man is the same one that portrayed Sugihara Kohei from the movie adaption of I Hear the Sunspot [2017]. Basically, this is not his first BL rodeo!

7. Japan is pushing out bls like it’s no one’s business. We have another new bl. I liked the 1st episode. Isumi appears to be cute and quite (or so I thought), but he can be feisty. The sweet little policeman was so straightforward and subtle in flirting with Isumi, asking him to come cook for him at his home. He’s smooth. Isumi, on the other hand, seems smitten already by Kyosuke approaching him warmly 🥰

8. SPOILER… Another JBL in our midst!😃 Isumi is such a cutie.

   His loneliness made me sad tho. He was certainly smitten at first sight with his very forward, dark and handsome police officer, Kyosuke😍

   It only took Kyosuke saying a warm “good-night” to help Isumi start to fall for him💗 Isumi having learned how to cook from his mother and Kyosuke having grown up without home-cooked meals – opposite childhood experiences. It was an aww moment when Kyosuke already identified that Isumi made his food full of love🥺 He’s such a flirt and you can tell Isumi is surprised by it. Despite our characters age and life differences, we can see they’re both lonely. It’s already nice seeing them open up and connecting. There’s already a subtle attraction and curiosity with one another.

   But, I feel like things are already moving very quickly with 10 eps and one of the MLs wants to have the other cook for him, eat together, be friends and already had a lowkey love confession/ well an “I like you” which seems fast to me given how long they’ve known each other😅 I wonder what their age gap is supposed to be in the series. In real life it’s 8 yrs. Anyways, I like this so far. Not your usual coupling in characters. As usual, these food related JBLs always make me hungry❣️😭

   P.S. Does anyone know what the title of the series means, maybe even from the manga?
