this is becoming one of my favourites of the year
She wanted someone to blame because of her guilt…waaaahhhh she wants to ruin his reputation to his family and the whole neighborhood…I would’ve understand (a little) her hostility if she didn’t know Mr. Byeon wasn’t directly involved…she went to Mi Rae’s workplace…what was she trying to achieved going there? In reality it was all for her…she even sold the villa right away…yes she was kinda tricked into selling it cheaper and quick because of the inheritance tax…but it was her who decided that… because she’s also broke…argh I’m still furious (I don’t know why I’m so invested deep π )…but also it’s a relief that they cleared it right away…I thought they’d stretch it out until the 16th episode.π
Not really liking how that writer overthink…but yes, we’re still so curious how he became rich…
I said it last episode…Mi Rae and Tae Pyeong’s problem (in their relationship) wouldn’t be because of their parents/family but because of their co-workers…they will talk for sure…
Lol the CEO just flat out told Mi-Rae’s boss that she is better than him in the first 3 minutes of the episode
I enjoyed their “moment” more than their daughter’s, honestly, her kiss, I just fast forwarded that πππ cz I dun feel any chemistry between that couple…..but this felt so gud, finally some romance….and I loved how the signal turned green π π
the only thing I wish is, they should’ve shown some young actors to play their younger versions, I mean from no angle do they look like 20 year old….
and glad that finally the VILLA CONTROVERSY came to an end, I was actually saying this while watching that scene that they still didn’t tell how he made all this money and they shouldn’t end this topic here, thankfully they’re gonna address that and m extremely curious….
I am happy her father problem was resolved. And can they be less obvious at work? What is this silly waiving at the parking lot?
I did not expect I would enjoy the parents’ romance this much, but I was smiling ear to earβ£οΈ Now I get the “romance in the house” part…
I wanted more context to how the father lived all these years so it’s good that they’re focusing on that a bit more now.
“So that’s Geum aeyeon when she is not a wife or a mother”, a simple woman who wished to work for herself, who wishes to have her efforts acknowledged. I like that she mentioned about her wrinkles being traces of time and efforts, but also marking the clock ticking without really taking the strokes in your hands.
I am so happy that the brother/ father is considerate- yes he made him join the company but I think somewhere even Taepyeong felt like he had to start somewhere? But he couldn’t and kept going off grid because he was reminded of his birth and hence felt insulted etc etc, Now with Mirae by his side he can have a solid start! She is teaching him well and he’s not resenting her either. I see why he didn’t wish to attract attention by being known as the ceo’s son- everyone treats him like a god trying to be in his good books, while the women enjoy hitting on him because of the money and his looks. Mirae keeps him so grounded making him do his work. The ceo was smart to not place him under the TEAM LEADER- because he knew he would want to play the good cop and this guy would never learn. All things aside- I love this office romance and keeping a relationship secret at the start is SO MUCH FUN π€God bless this couple I am rooting for them- I don’t see idiotic break ups. I hope the dad doesn’t have anything else to hide and go off the grid for. For once we don;t have a couple that has enough time to bullshit around, break up and make up and the writers are not afraid to end the series at 12 episodes. 16 would have been too much when they had only 2 conflicts to deal with – how the dad came to be in possession of the villa and the reconciliation with the family.
I am glad the misunderstanding about the landlord has been cleared up, the lights changed from red to green! After the investment scam, byeon moojin’s words,” You can give up now”, could have meant that giving him the villa would result in the Landlord getting back the money he invested in the fraud and maybe more. But I don’t think the landlord would have sold it even then. He was claiming the fire insurance to clear his daughter’s debt rather than selling the building, but since it was ruled as suicide the fire insurance claim was ineffective. So selling the villa was her only option. I admire him for moving into the place where someone he knew well, died. All to get close to his family- Mirae realized finally that the father’s return was necessary. I think this connects to their talk in episode 3/4 where the mother was kidnapped and Mirae felt insufficient for not being able to protect her from the lusting men who would have easily been warded off if the dad had been around. The dad told her that he was proud of her for doing so well alone, but she didn’t really take it in. Next the scene where she hurt her hand and he told her that her birth wasn’t a burden- some last words are necessary. Just like the landlord’s daughter resented the father for not helping her and then making her live with the guilt of being the driver behind his death, mirae’s life was filled with self-blaming for being born and hence for not being sufficient to protect the family, resenting the father for not being a father and staying without causing annoyance and horrible financial instability- unlike the landlord, the dad’s return freed her from all of it.
Glad FL is showing CEO son how to work from. newbie position or bottom and climb the ladder. She scolds him often while other flinch
I love TP’s father in this role. He was having the time of his life messing with him, doing everything he asked not to do π€£
He made a good decision to make the FL his supervisor bcz he knew only she would be able to be strict with him. Others would just start boot-licking (and exactly that happened.)
Glad Byeon have cleared up their misunderstandings
