The story is based on the legend of the Qingluan mirror and Lican sword, which is said to be able to reunite the country if held by the right owner. The two items are previously owned by the Brotherhood of the Dragon but now are lost. Only one girl named Duan Mu Ling knows where these heirlooms are kept. She promises her master that she would not tell anyone, because it can lead to chaos if the items fall into the wrong hands.
