  1. It was overall okay. Mudmee and Half really stole the show for me, as much as I love Forth/Gemini.

  2. I know this doesn’t apply to this show but I hate when the couple is telling each other’s parents they’re dating and the parents don’t except them and tell them they can’t date. Cause then the couple will actually listen even if they’re grown adults and be sad for a whole episode or more and what would the parents do if they don’t stop dating especially if their kids are already grown.

  3. AmAm I the only one who gave up after ep6? First 5 episodes were remake rest of the series has its own way… But I was not really hooked with it from the very start! I didnā€™t feel the chemistry between Geminifourth šŸ„² I really loved MSP.. I donā€™t want to compare but still this drama didnā€™t do anything to me… Geminifourth have better chemistry in real life than this…
their kissing scene was not cute or sensual either…everyone was saying “finally Geminifourth had their first adult kiss”…but bruh they didnā€™t even move their lips šŸ˜…Even peck kiss of japanese BLs are better than this!
I would like to see them in a better drama asap..

  4. Damn even up to the final episode Half and Mudmee were the highlight to me (which is crazyšŸ˜„) They did a great job with giving that sweet new young couple vibe and they nailed their comedic scenes as well. Mudmee running down the car had me howlingšŸ˜‚ Yea they were super cute this episode I really enjoyed all of their moments.

All I can say for GemFourth is I hope they get a better story next time or at least something they have an interest in? Fourth was doing his thing with the emotional scenes this episode so I know we could get better… Oh well guess we will see what is to comešŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Overall it was cute. Won’t be rewatching.

  5. I only watched this for Gem Forth. It wasn’t a very good remake. Although it went it’s own way from some point forward, still it didn’t do it for me. I tried not to compare it with MSP, but they had many similarities and yet that one managed to bring all the characters close to my heart, while this one couldn’t give them the depth they needed. I think they didn’t take enough time to explore the issues Kongtap and Atom were facing and just resolved everything very quickly. If they faced more, deeper issues and took the time to think about them and explore the different aspects and show how all of it would effect their lives and how it would change them, I’m sure I wouldn’t have had such a hard time following their story. The second couple’s story, although a bit better, had the same problem.

They had enough run time to make a better show and they didn’t. It’s a pity, specially cuz we know how talented Gemini and Forth are. I hope to see them in better shows like Moonlight Chicken that would be a better challenge for them and bring out their talent.

  6. I’m taking this scene out of context for drama series enthusiasts. If this were a K-drama, Atom would fall victim to a demanding mother-in-law, yeah!? šŸ˜… šŸ˜†

Their moms play important roles in these last two episodes whether they are wishing for their happiness after leaving home or accepting their son-in-laws. šŸ¤—

The finale is all about Atom. He struggles seeking acceptance and approvals from both moms. Though all ends happily, Atom’s desperation to be recognized and the emotions that came out of him make me cry for him. šŸ˜

Fourth’s acting excels as he matures. He shines and showcases a variety of manners and emotions in this series. I feel so proud to follow him from My School President, Moonlight Chicken, Our Skyy 2, to this My Love Mix-Up! Gemini is a great friend, colleague and supporter. I Hope to see more of the handsome Gemini and to hear his sexy masculine voice again.

I like to put aside a cute scene of Kongthap and Atom working together for their common goal. It’s just that substituting Mommam for rehearsal tickles me. Such a precious moment.

I love this series that started out as My Love Mix-Up! and ended as Fourth and Gemini bl series. I also love Mudmee and Half for their hetero love in a bl series.

Watching a sunset together should be a memorable moment of their romance. Errr…Mr Director, your actors should face the sun, not turning their back to it. šŸ˜… šŸ˜

A sunset marks an end to a day. A good finale marks the end of a drama series. As always, I am happy for a Happy Ending for all.

  7. Atomā€™s mom to me was the highlight of todayā€™s final episode. Not only did she push Atom not to be a ā€œloserā€ when he accidentally messed up Kongthapā€™s hand stitched sweater after putting it in the washing machine and was trying to get out of admitting and apologizing to Kongthapā€™s mother. She also, gave probably one of the most wanted, needed, or could have used message a parent could give their children and also meaning it when she told Atom that she wanted to be the parent that he could come to for whatever reason just like she was when he was little.
I also really enjoyed all of the fluffy moments from both couples today. Especially with the fish doll from the shrine that Kongthap and Atom visited being ā€œoffedā€ before Atom could hang it up with the rest of the fish dolls šŸ˜‚

  8. SPOILERā€¦ This is my first main comment to this series and even tho I know this ā€œlove mix upā€ wasnā€™t ā€œmixingā€ with everyone, I liked it for what it was. Only the beginning felt like a remake, but it still had its own Thai flair. As we all predicted, this was a sweet, happy ending with no lose ends!šŸ„° Even Khao-pan and Claire got to be a couple in the background and the teacher, and his Sin will put a ring on it soon!šŸ’ž It was a series that accurately told us about the usual uncertainties of growing up. Dealing with issues of sexuality, coming out to your friends and parents, overall parental approval and acceptance of love choices, school choices, learning to drive, etc. Speaking of which, that sure was not my definition of a ā€œsunset rideā€, Half and Mudmee had pushing the car there, lolšŸ˜…šŸ¤£

This series also highlighted the innocence of first (teenage) love, how to kiss, when to kiss, when to date and put an official label on it and when higher education adds likely long-distance relationship challenges to the mix. I liked how accurate and realistic the questions of finding out what youā€™re good at and what education and career path to take in the future. Not everyone has great grades in school, and we can get motivated to do well, late in the game and sometimes not at all. But that fear of being left behind, that Atom felt, especially at the end is so real irl (also no matter the age)šŸ˜” Even tho we knew they would all graduate and have this momentšŸ„³ā¤ļø

It was refreshing to see they werenā€™t All-star students from the startšŸ‘

I loved that if I remember correctly, all the characters in this, including the parents were a GREEN FOREST in support, love and/ or friendship – So positivešŸ’– No wonder the wedding theme for the teacher and Sin was also GREEN (and not with envy), lolšŸ˜„ I even liked the hetero side couple in this BL, which I wasnā€™t sure Iā€™d like at the beginning.

Overall, the humor in this was fun. Sometimes Atom especially was more animated than I bargained for, but it worked. This whole series was wholesome, cuteness overload, sometimes sappy but showing the usual growing pains, grounded the plot a bit for me. I didnā€™t have doubts this would be a happy ending, but I liked the realistic hurdles and challenges one often faces during this young age presented accurately. I was teary-eyed when Atom finally had the courage to tell Kongthapā€™s mom about their relationship, even tho she already knewšŸ„ŗ Itā€™ll be interesting to follow GeminiFourthā€™s acting careers and see them grow and adjust to more adult roles with and without each other. I actually like that theyā€™re taking it slower than some other Thai actors. Even tho these two are adults now, it felt age appropriate. Will this go into one of my most fav Thai BLs probably not, but it was overall enjoyable. SmilesšŸ„° Congrats to the cast and crew!

P.S. I secretly wonder how many are going out there writing the name of their crush on an eraser now. AwwwšŸ¤£šŸ¤£
