2. 4th episode and quite a lot happened for the new dating couple. P’Got to the rescue, Khun-Shy survived (to my surprise, I didn’t know that turtles can catch a cold.)

   Got is a dedicated designated protector. Diew is an introvert, but I don’t think he’s afraid of thunder. Got instinctively hovered over Diew at the sound of thunder was a good sign. The rain came just in time for a romantic moment.

   More importantly, they finally talked since they’ve been avoiding discussing the incident of running into each face to face breaking one of the dating conditions agreement that Diew laid out.

   Since Diew likes to know more about Got, they went all out just as college couples would to hang out with each other: study together, browse the street market, taste snacks that Got likes, learn to throw the basketball through the hoop.

   Not only Diew but I also got a fright when Got pointed out the delicious turtle eggs on display for sale at the snack vendor. Whew…(I had to Googled cassava. I learned something new since the first time I heard of Thai khanom luk chup from Pharm in UWMA)

   So I’m guessing Beer and Wan are the second bl couple for this series. Their relationship is like that of Yo and Ing in ISYinMD. Wan like Yo is not acknowledging Beer as his soulmate. And Beer like Ing has a one-sided crush on his friend.

   I am kinda disappointed by Got’s reckless drinking in a bar and calling up Diew. One he made Diew worried. And how could Diew ignore that Got passed out during their phone conversation. Diew has to go out of his comfort to fetch his drunken boyfriend. Hmph!

   This time I blame the drunken one for making a sloppy move on the protagonist.

   Got will regret this the next day. Hah! 🙎🏻‍♂️He got some groveling to do for forgiveness.

4. Forget “The Monster Next Door”. This should be called “The Misanthrope”!
   I mean, is Diew really an introvert? It seems more like he has social anxiety. He seems to actually HATE interacting with people. I hope they’ll explain it in later episodes and that the explanation makes sense because I really don’t get his behavior so far.

   It just seems that God/Got only likes Diew because he thinks he looks cute. So far, I don’t see any attractive qualities in Diew that would make anyone want to know him better.

   And, as for Mr. Shy…every time I see that turtle it makes me feel so uncomfortable. It seems like it is doing everything it can to escape. It looks desperate to be set free!
