  1. What a ugly wedding dress…So weird..It’s looks like they don’t enough money to buy new wedding dress and like borrow someone couple wedding dress..She looks ridiculours..

  2. This is straight-up crap. I really want to give the scriptwriter a piece of my mind (no offense). Why did they make Jing the endgame of this show? Xiang Liu should have been the endgame! He loved her selflessly and did way more for her than Jing ever did. At the end, I still don’t see what Jing did for her or what he had to offer. Xiang Liu sacrificed so much for her and loved her silently. None of the characters actually had any growth; it was the same circle, like a never-ending loop. It makes no sense and is so disappointing. There was so much potential in this show, but it didn’t deliver.

Plus, her feelings for Xiang Liu are left open-ended; it’s obvious she love him. There are so many things wrong with the drama, and I feel so disappointed for waiting for it. They should have just ended it at season 1 and saved us the disappointment.

  3. I really like season 1, but not this one. What’s going on with Chinese period dramas this year. There was only 2-3 good dramas the rest are really bad….

  4. the river I cryied over that small wooden thing… I knew it but I was still crying… nobody spoked up for him. Not even himself, who gave the one and only hug to XY only while she was fainted… well.. everything is over now.. long life to Nian so that at least she can remember XL

  5. What a performance Tan Jian Ci gave all along this story. What an actor !
Standing ovation to the cast department for the choice of actors. Their skills were well put forward.

  6. Wauw, what a roller-coaster was this. I hoped for a better ending for Xiang Liu, but had already mentally prepared myself for his ending like this.. what I’m very happy about is that Cang Xuan told her the truth how he felt about her and at the end she still was wearing the flower he gave to her… … even when he told he wouldn’t choose her, I was not totally convinced, but I always like the red flags in a drama and that is one of my guilty pleasures 🤣..

  7. Kinda disappointed with how the producers tried to cram everything into the last couple episodes. Honestly S1 should of ended at TSJ attempted assassination so there would be more time to flesh S2 out, since in the novel she investigated for years and had so many other events happen in between that time. There was plenty of content in the novel and story wise it would of made more sense. Instead of combining multiple scenes into one. Well…, I followed along cause I was an avid fan of the novel. It was understandable that they couldnt stay true to the novel with budget wise. But I also felt like that they wasted alot of screen time just letting charaters whine.

  8. Our babies got their happy ending. They got to go back to the mundane life they always wanted. As a Jing shipper, I will admit Xiang Liu’s death was an emotional one to watch!! He was a formidable opponent indeed!

This is a beautiful journey come to an end, season 2 was underwhelming sure, but it had some good moments as well.

  9. i am glad her lost love Jing returned to marry her but this 2nd season leaves me with a deep lingering sadness because of the self sacrificing love of Xiang Lu. Indeed among the 3 men, he loved her the most. She never even had a clue about how much he sacrificed himself for her. Even Jing was saved by him. He died tragically. I wish the script had retained at least some part of his existence since he is a supernatural being. I prefer the bonds that was set in the first season…it was a much, much happier time.

  10. A hard won peace… let’s hope it lasts for a very very long time.

Tushan Jing came back, Cang Xuan finally let go, though I believe that illusion of karma was a huge contributing factor to that.

Xiang Liu, my dear self sacrificing Xiang Liu, may you have better luck on the next turn of the wheel.

Overall good ending but I’m a little ticked that Tushan Huo’s offspring became the chief, not the kid’s fault and TJ never really wanted to be really, but considering the sins of the father I can’t help feeling he still won somehow, but maybe that’s just me nitpicking.

  11. Ending happy for JingYao but I’m truly disappointed how Xiaoyao never finds out how much Xiangliu loved her. And he deserved better. Not just 3 seconds of Xiaoyao to cry for him… Xiangliu rest in peace🤍🕊

  12. Xiang Lu deserves a better ending, but I guess everything was how it should be. Kodus to all the leads for their amazing performances and kodus to the team for a great drama. This has been a great watch.

  13. so glad in the end she got together with jing. my OTP!!!
those scenes with cang xuan were INTENSE tho…. can’t believe the illusion thing TT
also xiang liu’s ending is just so pitiful mygod…

  14. Sigh idk how to feel about all this… She got her happy ending in the end but a part of me still feels like Xiang Liu loved her the most passionately and selflessly. Half of the first season details are still fuzzy in my mind however. Also us having to forgive the empress, who’s name my brain has wiped cus she was horrible, why? For the sake of balance? So now luckily Jing is back and she’s realised that she was being a grade A b***h then suddenly all is well. Anyways it is finished and we made it through. Cang Xuan has given up on his obsession and now can focus on the people and it only took him 63 episodes to confess his feelings…good for him.
