Synopsis: “Shinsengumi” follows two young soldiers, Fukakusa Kyujuro and Kamagiri Daisaku, in a fictional tale of vengeance and friendship. After losing his father, Okajuro joins the Shinsengumi to improve his sword skills and seek revenge. During the entrance exam, he meets Daisaku, a skilled newcomer. Despite forming a strong bond, their loyalty to their respective sides in tumultuous times leads them towards a tragic fate of having to fight each other. Based on the manga by Tezuka Osamu, the drama consists of 10 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes, and airs on Thursdays.
