  1. i still have questions left but i’d take this ending over an open ending. although i feel like they could’ve made this a 12 episode drama, it was too slow since ep6-ep8.. they’ve focused way too much on boyeong’s case while daeun’s case became underwhelming. but i would still rank this drama as one of the best dramas this year. byun yohan should get a daesang for this. mbc you know the drill!

  2. 10 episodes is even more than after the 7th , yet writer made it to 16 , then the network probably realized , its too much . Yet 14 is still too much. Why not just cut the episodes like how it happened in 14 to end it at ep 8. Waste of time. Idiot storyline.

  3. OH SNAP!! Lee Ga Sub played both twins… I thought they were 2 different actors (possibly brothers).. Whoa, he was excellent in both parts!

  4. I don’t know if its the same in S Korea, but a wrongful conviction, particularly one where it is shown that evidence was tampered with and confessions were coerced, allow the person who was harmed to sue the state for compensation. It would be a process and, likely, take a few years. So, maybe they just didn’t feel the need to show that part?

  5. Do we know what actually happened to the detective’s bride? I think I missed something. I gather she was killed on their wedding day, but why? By whom?

  6. Not sure what to say. This drama leaves me with a lot of mixed thoughts. Jung Woo certainly had reason to want to clear his name. All the people around except his eomeoni either betrayed him or abandoned him. The Chief was the worst of them although the Congresswoman who reminds of a female candidate in the US was right up there as gum on your shoe.

The detective assaulted Jung Woo a few times because he considered him a criminal. Not sure how you get past that. Humans are frail when it comes honesty and loyalty, very few are able to live up to those ideals. Never forget that.

  7. Really should have been 10 episodes… they dragged it too long until the last episode. They were probably like oh no we need to wrap it all up in 1 episode. Drama started off well but ended poorly.

  8. so the only one who really apologize to his mom is boyeong mom…i wished boyeong father would appologize for what he did to male lead mom but well

  9. For those confused as to the number of episodes foe this drama… on H U l u, it was reedited for some reason and is 16 episodes. But the remaining 8 don’t even drop until Oct 8th.

I believe everywhere else, it has always been 14 episodes.

So if you are watching on this platform, epsiode 14 is the last one.

  10. As much as I loved the flow of this drama and how every evil person got their deserved punishment, well, almost all, the Congresswoman didn’t, and that was disappointing to watch. For ten years or even more, she knew her husband was sexually molesting teenagers, but did nothing. On the contrary, she stayed married, letting him do whatever he wanted. And when he killed his teenage mistress, she covered it up to protect her career. What’s worse, she callously, like everyone else in this deranged town, let an innocent boy take the fall. And like the sly fox that she was when the truth was about to come out, she had her husband killed and got away with it. If there is anything I disapprove of in this ending, it’s her.

I always try to find a message in every work of fiction or non-fiction that I watch. This one leaves me with the thought that we as humans should be better and do better, not just for those we love, but for all humanity, because every human being is someone’s child, mother, father, brother, relative, husband, wife, lover — live by the golden rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I will miss seeing Byun Yo Han and Go Joon every week; they were amazing together. But then even the demented played their roles beautifully. Kudos to everyone.

  11. He’s happy with only an innocence declaration.
How about your father’s wealth? How about those 11 years?

Woohoo! Let’s celebrate that the law brought justice!!!!

Like I said in the beginning, most of them got a slap on the wrist.
The storyline already have so much plot holes…… is it so hard to at least give proper satisfaction to the audience?

So is this the end? I thought it was supposed to be 16 episodes?

  12. I am very disappointed in with the ruling of the retrial. Is this how it really happens in life. There isn’t enough evidence so we’re setting aside the original verdict. Not, oh, we have found the real killers, our bad you were wrongly convicted.

  13. the drama actually showed the fu*ked up reality of people and the world….

the two professions, doctors and police, who r responsible for saving lives are exactly the ones who have absolutely no regard and no respect of someone’s life…..they kill people left and right and still live with their heads held high with no accountability whatsoever…..

  14. I…didn’t like that ending much. It felt like they were on a time crunch and got frazzled with how they wanted the finale to go. It was a predictable end and I think everyone knew how it was going to go. But I just feel very unfulfilled.

  15. loved this bromance ❤️❤️❤️, the detective was my favourite person 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️

  16. I was waiting and waiting and kept waiting for him to apologise for what he did to his mother but…..😐😐😐😐

  17. what a MF as*hole till the end!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I was on the edge of my seat when he locked himself in just sat there to die, he didn’t deserve death, and m so glad he lived, death would’ve been the easiest way out for him….although i dun even like that he’s in prison, eating three meals a day, living on tax payer’s money…..I DEMAND JUSTITIA FOR HIM…..that’s the only TRIAL and JUSTICE I can accept for him…..

  18. the ruling overturned, he was proven innocent, but would that overturn the 10 years of his life that he lost and spent despite being innocent??? he was proven innocent, but at what cost??? at the cost of losing precious years of his life, his father, his friends, people he loved, almost losing his mother, almost losing his own life nth times….it was so hard to watch how an innocent life can be just turned upside down just because of greed and jealousy of some people, and that too, people that u trust and u depend on….😢😢😢😔😔😔. I won’t be able to trust anyone in life, ever…..

yes m glad that his mother is fine….

m glad they all r trying their best to live a normal life….

but would that be the compensation of what they’ve lost??? can it be???

it was so sad to see that Geon oh was the only true friend he had, yes Geon oh also made extremely wrong choices, but at least he didn’t commit any crime and even if he couldn’t, but at least he tried to prove that Jeong woo was innocent….I give him that….

  19. I’m going to be honest the ending didn’t satisfy me. They all needed to suffer way more, but this was possibly the best they could do. Nonetheless, really good watch, but for my own sanity I’m most likely never going to rewatch this again.

  20. throughly throughly enjoyed this, what a roller coaster of emotions it was…..the story, the acting, the direction everything was just perfect, couldn’t have been better….Kudos to the whole cast n crew, would definitely miss it…..a murder mystery that I enjoyed wholeheartedly after Beyond Evil…..

  21. the congress woman’s cry is one of the fakest cry i have ever seen lol. sad nothing for tomorrow, oh well see u guys next week for doubt

  22. Im gonna miss this kdrama, it was great. my pre weekend fix.

a picture is worth a thousand words… (If you pay attention, its definitely sus)
