Being the end of the year 2019, looking back at all the Asian dramas which were released reminds us of how J-dramas have made their way in the hearts of the viewers by giving back to back hits. The Medical genre has brought a large number of fans towards J- dramas.
Here are few Medical Japanese dramas of 2019 which were on the Top Watch list of the viewers and fans. Lets begin!
1. A Lone Scalpel
The drama is set in the late 1980’s. a time when the transplantation of internal organs was looked at as a taboo. In the midst of these taboos we have Tetsuhiko Toma (Hideaki Takizawa) who is a Japanese US returned surgeon who believes that all hospitals should provide equal care and treatment to everyone. On his returning, he was asked to work at a local hospital. Following his principles, saving the life of the patients was always his first priority, but when Tetsuhiko Toma tries the first internal organ transplantation in Japan he comes across the health care system which blocks him from performing the surgery.
The cast also includes Nagatsuka Kyozo, Yamamoto Mizuki, and Ishimaro Kanji these are some of the very experienced and famous actors who enhance the drama with their presence.

3. Sign 2019
This drama is personally one of my favorite dramas. It looks at the difficulties and criticism a group of forensic pathologists receives due to lack of manpower and their resistance to spending the tax money on the autopsies. Nao Omori plays the character of Takashi Yuzuki who is cold and arrogant in nature but possess excellent skill in the field of forensic science.
They come across the case of a popular singer; whose death involves powerful businessmen. Takashi Yuzuki is on the loose to catch the culprits by his skills.

5. In Hand
This is one of the most unique drama one could ever find. It is about Tetsu Himokura (Tomohisa Yamashita) who is a parasitologist. He enjoys researching the lives of parasites in his home laboratory due to which he barely leaves home. Tetsu Himokura has a robotic prosthetic right hand. He has a smart but blunt personality. He joins hands with Tomoe Makino to work on unknown creatures and diseases.
